Welcome to the AMGC Training Academy. Our mission is to develop professional people. We do this through the lens of the game. Soccer is our vehicle for developing professional people.

Our Philosophy: At the core of our training. We believe that a tactically flexible player is the most important player. A tactically flexible player is someone that, no matter their ability, can be put into any style of play, any game model, or any position and dominate. A tactically flexible player is a player that brings the most on-field value to the team. We believe many players have lost the art of being tactically flexible.

Our Instructors: Our team consists of Cole Russell (Lansing, MI) and Jake Crull (Boise, ID). Cole and Jake played collegiate soccer together for 3 years at Spring Arbor University. After their time at SAU, Jake went on to play professional soccer at the USL League One level where he currently plays for AC Boise. Cole went on to begin his coaching career. He is the current assistant coach at Spring Arbor University.

Our Community: Our goal is to change the culture of how we develop athletes. Cole and Jake's college coach told them "Person > Player" and how the individual is more important than the player. The player is a result of who the person is. Our goal is to develop the person. With that being said. Our community will be filled with people striving to develop the best version of themselves so that they can become a professional person.

Our Space: The Academy is BRAND NEW soccer facility in Lansing, MI. As a young player, I bounced around from facility to facility trying to find a place to train. The Academy is meant to be the perfect home for those that want to develop every day. The Academy is for YOU.

Our Commitment: I'll tell you one thing, we are committed to becoming professional people. Every day. We will fail and fall short a lot, but the true mark of a professional is the willingness to get back up again. We will support you to do just that.
